Kony 2012 has been saturating my Facebook news feed and Twitter stream the past week. People have been posting videos, thoughts, and pictures, relating to this. Currently, this is extremely relevant to the trends in social media. You bring up an interesting idea about how fast one video (or picture, document, etc.) can spread in one day. That is the power social media has over what gets saturated and spread through our society. It is scary to think about the messages that are being spread, through these popular videos on our social networking sites.
For the past six days, Facebook, Twitter and many other social media websites have been blowing up with the latest viral video, Kony 2012. Now, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, it may be a good idea to do a Google search for “Kony 2012” or better yet, sign into Facebook or Twitter. I’m…
